What is Leucoderma?
Leucoderma which is also referred to as Vitiligo is a skin disorder characterized by the loss of pigment leading to the extreme whiteness of the skin. The pigment involved here is melanin. The higher the amount of melanin, the darker the skin becomes. When the levels of this pigment become low, it causes white patches on the skin which can appear gradually.
