What is Oligospermia?
Oligospermia is a condition in men characterized by the less amount of sperm in the ejaculate than the normal levels. The normal range of the sperm is considered to be 20 million/ml to 120 million/ml. If the amount of sperm is observed to be less than the lower threshold of the normal count i.e. 20 million/ml, then the person is said to have the condition of Oligospermia.
In some extreme cases where there is no sperm found in the ejaculate, the condition is referred to as Azoospermia.
