In adults, eczema can affect the skin on the face, neck, elbows (insides), knees, and ankles while in infants it can be seen on scalp, face, forehead, forearms, neck, and legs. Eczema can either be temporary which means that it can disappear in a few hours or days or it can chronic which means that it occurs through the life.
It is believed that though eczema is not a contagious disease, it could be partially inherited. If there is eczema in a family line, it is not surprising to find a member of the family affected with the disease. Some other causes include
